Affirmations to Mature

-

I embrace maturity.

I will always be childlike, but I let go of the childish.


I am now who I used to look up to.

Youth is no longer an excuse and I do not long for the days it was.

I know better, but it’s okay if I don’t always do better. 

Being grown doesn’t mean I don’t make mistakes. 


I consider my future as I make choices. 

And I am present while I live in the moment. 


I am not afraid of my future. 

I am not ashamed of my past.

I do not glamorize the future.

I do not romanticize the past. 


I do not rush into maturity. I let it happen: gradually and gracefully.


So it is.
