I tend to let circumstances affect my mood. It’s natural. At my core: I am human. However, if I don’t install updates regularly, I can allow circumstances to affect what I think and what I speak. I embrace maturity. I will always be childlike, but I let go of the childish. I am now who I used to look up to. Youth is no longer an excuse and I do not long for the days it was. I know better, but it’s okay if I don’t always do better.  Being grown doesn’t mean I don’t make mistakes.  I consider my future as I make choices.  And I am present while I live in the moment.  I am not afraid of my future.  I am not ashamed of my past. I do not glamorize the future. I do not romanticize the past.  I do not rush into maturity. I let it happen: gradually and gracefully. So it is.

Affirmations for Mistakes 😣 My mistakes don't make me a mistake. I don't dwell in mistakes. I don't determine my worth on how many mistakes I make or the type of mistakes I make. I own my mistakes. I acknowledge them, recognize them, learn from them, and move on. I don't carry the weight of my mistakes. I use mistakes to make me stronger. I use mistakes to make me better.  So I am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone for fear of making mistakes. So it is.
